Join this exclusive 9-hour workshop exploring the flavors and craftsmanship of Portugal, reserved for private groups (maximum 8 people), held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The journey begins with the artisanal production of Queijo de Azeitão. From heating the raw milk of sheep grazing on the slopes of the Serra da Arrábida to the infusion of thistle (essential for coagulation), through the maturation and washing chambers, and finally to your table. Taste different types of cheese and learn to identify their unique characteristics.
Next, you will visit a tile factory and discover the secrets behind the creation of these emblematic works of Portuguese culture. Observe the production process, which can take up to 2 or 3 months, from clay preparation to hand painting. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to become an artist for a day and paint your own tile, taking home a unique souvenir from Portugal.
End the day with a visit to a family-owned winery located between the Serra da Arrábida and the Atlantic Ocean. Stroll through the vineyards, admire the natural beauty of the region, and learn about wine production. Taste 4 carefully selected wines paired with 4 delicious cheeses.
