Geschichte
The apparitions of Fátima, in 1917, were a religious and national event that filled many columns of the daily press of the time.

People flocked to the Cova da Iria in surging streams of curiosity, but also of Faith and Hope.
It was a difficult time, full of anguish and suffering, imposed by the First World War.

The Lady brighter than the Sun promised peace, but called for penance and prayer.
The miracles followed one after another: some physical in nature and many spiritual in nature.

The Museum
The Fátima Wax Museum embodies and recounts the main episodes of this great event, which was published in books, newspapers and magazines all over the world.

THE MIRACLE OF FÁTIMA is thus portrayed through three-dimensional figures, carefully created in an effort to keep the images faithful to reality. They are set in their own setting, almost alive, so that visitors have a unique and unforgettable experience.

It is therefore in a union between Art and History that the Fátima Wax Museum invites you to take a “journey” into a story of Faith.

Understanding History means valuing the reason behind thousands of pilgrims.
In scenes made up of wax figures, the Museum portrays the story of the Fátima visionaries and the most important historical events, putting the event into context.
