Start the day being picked up in Lisbon, where the driver will meet you in the morning. Set off for three significant historical monuments built by the Templars, also known as Knights Templars, Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ, or the Temple of Solomon.<\/p>\n

Head about 2 hours outside of the city to the town of Our\u00e9m, home to a historic medieval castle. After spending time exploring the castle, get back in the car for a 45-minute drive to nearby Tomar. Here, visit the picturesque Aqueduct of Peg\u00f5es as well as the historic Christ Convent and Castle.<\/p>\n

The Christ Convent was headquarters to the Knights for centuries and it’s a magnificent piece of Architecture – an overlay of different architectural periods – that granted it the UNESCO classification of World Heritage.<\/p>\n

Hop back in the car for a short trip to beautiful Almourol Castle that visitors can visit during the summer months – once it is only accessible after a short boat ride. Built on a small island in the middle of the river – this was an important settlement during its time and despite its petite construction.<\/p>\n

After exploring the grounds, return to the car and head back to Lisbon, where you’ll be dropped.<\/p>\n
