Betrachten Sie die Formen der \u00e4lteren, dunkleren Gesteine, aus denen die Klippen bestehen. Als sie sich bildeten, lagen die Schichten in einer perfekt horizontalen Position. Heute zeigen sie absolut erstaunliche Falten, wie sie in Geologie-Lehrb\u00fcchern und Abhandlungen \u00fcber Stratigraphie vorkommen. Einige Schichten stehen jetzt vertikal, wie W\u00e4nde. Es ist faszinierend, sich die Kr\u00e4fte vorzustellen, die in der Lage sind, Gestein zu falten, als w\u00e4re es Bl\u00e4tterteig! Weitaus sanfter und j\u00fcnger war die Bildung der hier und dort entlang des Wegs vorkommenden festen Sandr\u00f6hren.<\/p>\n

Auf diesem Abschnitt finden Sie reichhaltige Spuren der Anwesenheit von S\u00e4ugetieren, insbesondere Raubtieren, die in diesen D\u00fcnen leben. Sie werden die Tiere kaum je sehen, da sie nachtaktiv sind und den ganzen Tag in ihren Bauten bleiben. Aber Sie k\u00f6nnen Spuren ihrer Anwesenheit entdecken \u2013 Kot, Trittsiegel, Baue oder die Reste n\u00e4chtlicher Beutez\u00fcge. Auf diesem Abschnitt gibt es: \u00e4gyptische Mangusten (lokal escalabardo genannt), Wiesel, Steinmarder (auch papalvo genannt), Dachse, Ginsterottern und Fischotter. Das Kaninchen ist ein weiteres S\u00e4ugetier, das komplexe Bau-Systeme in den stabileren D\u00fcnen dieses Abschnitts baut. Es pflanzt sich hier ebenso reichlich fort, wie die Legende besagt, und das ist auch gut so, denn dieses S\u00e4ugetier ist die bevorzugte Beute von 30 Raubtierarten!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
