Douro Valley Tour

Discover the spectacular Douro Valley, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Located in northeastern Portugal, within the Douro River basin, and surrounded by mountains that provide unique environmental and climatic characteristics, the region covers a total area of approximately 250,000 hectares. This area comprises three naturally distinct sub-regions, each differing in both climatic and socioeconomic factors.

This wine-producing region, demarcated since 1756, is the oldest in the world and offers us centuries-old vineyard landscapes along the Douro River.

It is in these vineyard landscapes that the famous Port Wine is born, produced in the cellars of century-old estates. Traditionally, the typical Rabelo boats of the region continue to transport the wine along the tranquil waters between the vineyards.
