Description

This guided tuk tuk tour takes you to the neighbourhood from which Portuguese sailors set off on their voyages of discovery – Belém. Your driver will take you from the historic centre to the neighbourhood, 7 kilometres away, and show you impressive sights: the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos and the famous “Pasteis de Belém”.

Your guide will pick you up at the chosen meeting point. Then you will set off on your adventure through Belém in the stylish vintage tuk tuk.

Savour the traditional Pastéis de Belém, the most famous “pastelaria” in Portugal. The original of this pastry can only be found here, where the secret recipe is still made today.

• Jerónimos Monastery

Marvel at the impressive Jerónimos Monastery from the outside and visit the magnificent church inside (free of charge).

• Belém Tower

Visit the famous Belém Tower from the outside and take beautiful holiday photos.

• Padrão dos Descobrimentos

Walk across the impressive marble world map and observe the Portuguese sailors at the Monument to the Discoveries.

At your request, we will end the tour in Belém, where you can visit on your own the monuments you have already seen inside. Your guide will give you tips.
