Guided Trail of the 4 Lagoas with Picnic

This route takes you to the central plateau, where nature shows itself at its purest.

We begin at the viewpoint of Lagoas Negra and Comprida, with a wide view over two of the island’s best-known scenes. We head towards Lagoa Seca and Lagoa Branca, a quiet area with a great wealth of migratory and local birds.

Along the way, we cross green areas and others that are rockier, always with the presence of the ocean marking the landscape.

The final part of the trail is a descent to Fajã Grande, the westernmost parish in Europe, at the famous Poço do Bacalhau waterfall, a great spot to rest and a stop to swim at the waterfall.

And to finish, a delicious PICNIC steeped in local culture will be served.
