Canyoning Taster – Basic

The Canyoning Taster is the ideal way to start this activity on Flores Island, designed for those who have never done canyoning or want a first experience that is safe and well supervised.

The activity takes place on an accessible route, chosen according to the conditions of the day, with progression along a stream, small abseils, optional jumps and direct contact with waterfalls. Everything is done gradually, respecting the pace of the group and the comfort of each participant.

Before entering the water, a full briefing is given on the equipment, basic techniques and safety rules. Throughout the route, the guides stay close by, explain each stage and adjust the experience to the level of the group.

More than a technical activity, this taster is a way to build confidence, get to know the dynamics of canyoning and experience the island’s nature from the inside out. No previous experience is needed, just the willingness to take part and let yourself be carried away by the water, the rock and the unique landscape of Flores.
