With more than 400 islands scattered across the great lake, join us at the pier of the Monsaraz river beach for 90 minutes and come and discover what this adventure has to offer you. Located in the heart of the great Alqueva lake, the Golden Island is a fantastic, paradise-like spot. Here you can take in the castles of Monsaraz and Mourão, the great mirror of water, the bridge over the Alqueva and the landscape that frames the magnificent wild island. During the stop on the island you can dive into the warm, crystalline waters of the Alqueva and, at the same time, admire the characteristic golden glow of its sand.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear suited to the season (flip-flops, beach towel, sun cream and a hat in summer).
