The journey is long but the coach is comfortable. This sanctuary, visited every year by thousands of people from all over the world, is one of the most important sites of the Catholic faith: it was here that the Virgin Mary appeared to the three shepherd children, Francisco, Jacinta and Lúcia. A guide will be on hand to tell you this and other stories. Visit the house where these children were born and the four sites where the apparition took place, the Chapel of the Lausperene, the Chapel of the Apparitions and the monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
After a break for lunch, you can visit the tombs of the three shepherd children and, if you wish, attend a mass in the impressive Chapel of the Apparitions.
