The programme of this walking tour through the streets of the “white city” includes a stop, among others, at the Rossio Marquês de Pombal, the town’s main square and a privileged place to begin any visit to Estremoz, so many are the points of interest around it. We will then pass through the Largo do Gadanha, go to the Torres da Couraça, right next to the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Consolação, and then head into the interior of the Castle and its heritage complex. On the way back from the Castle we will also pass the Pelourinho.
