The first stop is in the historic town of Amarante, famous for the Igreja de São Gonçalo and its impressive bridge over the river Tâmega. Here you can stroll through the stone streets, feel the town’s tranquil atmosphere and admire the architecture that blends history and traditional charm. It is the perfect place to stretch your legs, take photos and soak up the authentic atmosphere of the Douro.

In the heart of the wine region, we visit a traditional quinta to taste some of the region’s best wines, including the famous Port wine. It is an experience that combines flavour and knowledge, allowing you to learn about the production and history of these unique wines. The typical lunch that follows is made with local ingredients and authentic flavours, offering a true immersion in the gastronomy of the Douro.

The tour continues in Pinhão, where we board a traditional rabelo boat to sail along the river Douro. Among vineyards, quintas and stunning hillsides, this cruise provides a unique perspective on the valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

To finish, we drive along the famous Estrada Nacional 222, considered one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Every bend offers new views of the river Douro and the terraced vineyards, making the return to Porto as memorable as the rest of the day.
