About the Tour

We begin our adventure to discover the “Novo Dão” wines, produced with awareness and knowledge passed down from generation to generation, something that truly puts the Dão region on the map. The first stop will be at a family Quinta with around 30 hectares of vineyard, where winemaking is based on tradition and modernity! You can explore the extensive vineyards and the unique architecture of this Quinta on a guided visit, followed by a DOC Dão wine tasting.

Next, we will head to a Quinta that has belonged to the same family for at least 4 generations. At this Quinta, love of nature is a core value, as the wines are produced with minimal human intervention, making the most of the finest qualities that nature gives the grapes. You will enjoy a delicious lunch in the winery’s centuries-old family house, where a 3-course regional meal awaits you!

To finish, a guided visit through the estate and a DOC Dão wine tasting await us!

After lunch, it is time to continue our adventure through the Dão and carry on visiting Quintas known in the region for combining ancestral knowledge with innovation in the production of the exceptional DOC Dão table wines!
