Sea Breeze Wake Up

A 3-hour cruise along the banks of the Tagus. Sailing between the north bank and the south bank, we will get to know the main monuments that mark the riverside area. This morning programme promises to wake you up to the best view of the city – the city seen from the river. To start the day in the best possible way, we offer a coffee and a “Pastel de Nata” so you can savour something traditionally Portuguese while sailing through the History of Portugal.

Stop: Cristo Rei, Estr. da Barroca, Tarouca Portugal
Cristo Rei is a monument located in Almada, on the other side of the river. The construction of this imposing structure was ordered by a Portuguese bishop after the Second World War for a very special reason. Join us on board to find out all about it with our crew!

Stop: 25 de Abril Bridge, Praca 25 de Abril Almada, Lisbon 1950-358 Portugal

This twin of the Golden Gate suspended over the Tagus is one of the main attractions of the beautiful city of Lisbon. Built during the Salazar dictatorship, it is one of the capital’s important links with the south of the country. Join us on board and find out all about it! We will take 15 minutes sailing to reach the point of interest.

Stop: Padrao dos Descobrimentos Avenida Brasilia Belem, Lisbon 1400-038 Portugal
Built especially in wood to adorn the exhibition marking 500 years of Portuguese discovery, it was later rebuilt in stone to withstand the hard times. It is now one of the main tourist attractions and raises many intriguing questions… Any in mind? Come aboard with us and have them all answered by our crew! We will take 45 minutes sailing to reach the point of interest.

Stop: Torre de Belem, Avenida Brasilia – Belem, Lisbon 1400-038 Portugal
It once stood in the middle of the river like an island and served as Lisbon’s last line of defence. For some reason it now lies close to the shore, and its ornamental features will surprise you! Come and discover the whole story behind this “island” that now sits near the coast! We will take 20 minutes sailing to reach the point of interest and 45 minutes to return to the starting point.
