Departure from our kiosk in Olhão, Jardim Patrão Joaquim Lopes, we head out to the fishing harbor through the industrial area.

Next, we cycle to Ria Formosa Natural Park where with a guide you can observe the fauna and flora. In this Park we can find many bird species, it is used as a resting area for migratory birds. Perfect nesting spot for birds arriving in spring or the birds make the Ria Formosa their permanent habitat. Visit the tide mill, all restored and with a fantastic panoramic view of the barrier islands of Olhão. Afterwards, we visit the Chalet Dr. João Lucio built in 1916 and now totally restored. The house has four entries distributed by the cardinal points. This Chalet has beautiful architecture and you will fall in love with the landscape. After visiting the inside and outside in detail we return to our kiosk.
