Not to be missed! Lagos Grotto Trips takes you to see the Benagil caves, located between Praia do Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra and placed on the top 10 list of the most famous caves in Europe! We leave Lagos Marina, passing by Alvor, Portimão and Carvoeiro, enjoying the view of beautiful beaches and the Algarve coastline. We will first visit the caves of Carvoeiro and finally, the most famous caves of the world – Algar de Benagil. The caves are truly amazing with its clear water and rock formations of unparalleled beauty, an experience that will create memories for life! Our trip takes place in a completely new 18-seater rigid inflatable boat (RIB) on padded benches providing genuine comfort during the trip. All of our tours are led by experienced guides who offer a very personalized service as each one of our clients is important to us and our company. Included The boat trip to the Benagil caves lasts 2 hours. The distance between Lagos and Benagil is 11 nautical miles, so the total route – Marina de Lagos / Benagil / Marina de Lagos – is 50 km / 27 nautical miles. Important information We advise our customers to bring water, wear a hat or cap, use sunscreen and on windy days bring a windbreaker. On this trip it is not possible to get off the boat or stop for a swim. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items. This trip is not recommended for children under 6 years old, pregnant women and people with back problems.
