Regarding fishing, the Tagus offers a variety of fish species, including sea bass, shad, eel, bass, among others. Each of these species has its own behavioral characteristics and environmental requirements, contributing to the biological diversity of the river.

However, it is important to note that the ecosystem of the Tagus River has faced significant challenges due to human activities such as pollution, intensive navigation, and dam construction. These factors have negatively impacted not only water quality but also aquatic biodiversity and natural habitats along the river. Sport Fishing

The Tagus estuary offers a constant challenge to anglers, requiring correct reading of conditions and quick adaptation for success. If you are already an experienced angler, it will be easy-peasy for you. Your goal will be to catch the largest sea bass and the biggest shad. This experience features high-level fishing such as:

• Epic battles with large shad: Fight against XXL shad that can reach up to 60kg and 2 meters in length.

• The schedule is adjustable according to the tide.
• The meeting point is at the Marina of Parque das Nações, Lisbon.
• If you do not have a valid license for Portuguese waters, the daily license fee per angler will be added.
• Regarding fishing gear, rods, reels, and lines are included. Baits and lures can be provided upon request (to be confirmed upon reservation).
