Upon entering the South Lezíria of Vila Franca de Xira your experience begins when viewing a variety of species that feed or shelter in ditches, agricultural fields and pastures of the lezíria, giving a warm welcome to all who travel this fascinating area until we get to the EVOA.

You will visit an area that receives, in times of migratory passage, over 120,000 birds that rest in this place before continuing on their journey. Some remain for a longer period, then returning to their nesting or wintering areas.
