Propriété d'une famille anglo-portugaise depuis plus de 5 générations, la ferme de 540 hectares était à l'origine consacrée à la sylviculture du liège et à l'élevage, activités gérées depuis sa ferme bâtie dans le style traditionnel, surplombant la campagne environnante.
