Transfer to Vereda do Pico Ruivo

Travel comfortably from Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz, Machico, Porto da Cruz or Santana to Achada do Teixeira, the starting point for the independent hike to Pico Ruivo, Madeira’s highest peak.

After arriving at Achada do Teixeira, complete the trail independently and at your own pace. At the scheduled time, meet your driver at the designated meeting point for the return transfer.

This is a passenger transportation service only. It does not include a walking guide, guided hiking activity or accompaniment during the trail.

• Pick-up and drop-off from your selected location (Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz, Machico, Porto da Cruz, or Santana)
• Transfer to Achada do Teixeira and back home from the same location
• Self-guided hike along PR1.2 trail.
• Assistance for any questions during the transfer

• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Hike requires a moderate level of fitness; not recommended for those with serious mobility or health issues.
• All participants must be able to follow safety instructions and respect trail guidelines all the time.
