Itinéraire

The day begins with a pick-up at the hotel at 07:45, with a stop at Mercado da Graça to buy the ingredients for preparing lunch (fish, vegetables, wine and regional bread). We set off towards Furnas with a stop in Vila Franca do Campo, to taste the famous Queijada da Vila.

At Lagoa das Furnas, the time has come for the chefs to show their skill in preparing lunch. Shortly after the culinary tasks are finished, we begin our walk around the Furnas lake, ending in the parish of Furnas (a very easy walk), with the possibility of a dip in the thermal waters of Poça da Dona Beija.

Return to the lake area (caldeiras) for the unearthing of lunch, which will be served in the picnic area around the lake.

Once the lunch ritual is complete, we return to the road (north coast), with a first stop at the acidic waters of Furnas, then on to the Pico do Ferro viewpoint and a 4 o’clock tea at the Gorreana Tea Factory.

We pass by the Santa Iria viewpoint and return to the hotel
