Transfer to Madeira’s Eastern Peninsula Hike

Discover the eastern tip of Madeira on the Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço, a stunning trail offering panoramic views of both the northern and southern coasts.

The 6 km round-trip (3 km each way) hike takes around 3,5 hours and follows undulating terrain, making it suitable for hikers of average fitness.

Wander across volcanic cliffs and basalt formations, observe rare seabirds like shearwaters and Bulwer’s petrels, and enjoy the unique semi-arid landscapes.

At the trail’s end, unwind with a swim at Cais do Sardinha before a comfortable return to your pickup point. This self-guided adventure combines dramatic scenery, wildlife spotting, and a refreshing coastal finish.
