À propos de cette expérience
Discover the fascinating world of cetaceans on a truly immersive experience off the coast of Arrábida and the Tróia Peninsula, one of Portugal’s richest and most emblematic marine regions. On board a comfortable vessel and in small groups, you will sail through waters of high biodiversity, in the natural habitat of resident dolphins and other marine species that inhabit this unique area of the Sado River Estuary. More than a boat trip, this is an interpretive ecotourism experience, designed to bring people closer to the ocean in a conscious, authentic and responsible way. Throughout the activity, you will be accompanied by a guide/marine biologist, who will share specialist knowledge about the species observed, their behaviour, the dynamics of the ecosystem and the current challenges of marine conservation. Before departure, a safety briefing and an introduction to good cetacean-watching practices will be given. The experience always takes place in the wild, respecting the animals’ natural behaviour and the sea conditions. During the sail, you will receive continuous interpretation of the marine ecosystem, support in identifying species and educational content that enriches every sighting, turning each encounter at sea into a moment of learning and connection with nature. All sightings are carried out in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Cetacean Watching, ensuring the utmost respect for the animals and their natural habitat. The experience takes place in small groups (max. 10–12 participants), ensuring the utmost comfort, exclusivity and a closer, more immersive experience in the natural environment. An experience for families, tourists, nature lovers and all those seeking to experience the sea in an authentic, conscious and unforgettable way.
