Venez partager avec nous une journée wine experiences full of authenticity, flavours, customs and tradition, in the very heart of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region.

On this Private Wine Tour dedicated to Vinho Verde, we will discover the techniques, the secrets and the tradition behind the production of this exclusive wine, so beloved and sought after by the Portuguese and also recognised and renowned internationally. We will begin by discovering the preserved citadel inside the 17th-century Fortress of Valença do Minho. The centuries-old, verdant country roads will lead us to the heart of the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, birthplace of the famous Alvarinho grape, where we will stop to discover the secrets of Vinho Verde production. Then we will delight in a Wine Lunch, paired with local produce and demarcated wines. After this wine-and-gastronomy experience, the rural and traditional landscapes of the “Região Verde” will lead us to discover typical villages of the oldest Portuguese wine region and the historical legacy found here, before a 2nd tasting of demarcated Vinho Verdes from the different varieties of this sub-region, with pairing of regional products, in an atmosphere of tranquillity and relaxation.
