Wild Area of the Lagoon Expedition

Embark on a unique adventure through the wildest corners of the Ria de Aveiro, where nature still dictates the rhythm of the days. On board the Ria Beaches, we cross the winding channels of the estuary, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of urban areas and entering a world where the sounds of birds and the murmur of water are the constant soundtrack.
The landscape revealed itself little by little: banks of golden sand, marshes covered in salicornia, reeds swaying in the wind and small islets that seem to float between the sky and the water. We pass hidden beaches, accessible only by water, where we can see the human traces of the construction of the old salt marshes. The fine, clear sand contrasts with the dark green of the reeds and other shades of the estuary.
Along the way, we can observe various migratory birds, their fauna and flora. At every turn of the ria, we discover new panoramas – more open, with a panoramic view over the water, and more closed, as if we were in a natural labyrinth sculpted by centuries of tides.
A true immersion in the essence of the Ria de Aveiro, through its wildest, quietest and most authentic face.
