Le circuit part de la paroisse de Furnas en direction du lac de Furnas ; faire le tour du lac \u00e0 v\u00e9lo est un incontournable. Observer les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes du volcan est impressionnant. L'un des nombreux arr\u00eats se fait au point de vue de Pico dos Milhos, o\u00f9 l'on peut appr\u00e9cier la paroisse de Furnas ; en poursuivant vers cette paroisse, nous verrons plusieurs autres lieux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat.
