The first stop is intended to provide one of the most extraordinary views over Lagoa do Fogo.<\/p>\n<p>The journey continues with a short walk through Caldeira Velha, one of the island&#8217;s Protected Nature Reserves, where you can delight in a dip in a hot-water waterfall.<\/p>\n<p>A stop in the historic centre of the town of Ribeira Grande, where you will have the opportunity to savour the famous liqueurs made from the island&#8217;s fruit. Continuing along the north coast, visiting the tea factory, unique of its kind in Europe, where you can admire the beautiful view over the tea plantation and the north coast while enjoying a cup of tea. A climb to the Pico do Ferro viewpoint, which offers a superb view over the crater surrounding the Furnas valley.<\/p>\n<p>On arriving at the Furnas valley, beside the shores of the romantic lake, you can take part in the unearthing of the &#8220;cozido na caldeira&#8221;, which will be served for lunch. After lunch, a visit to the caldeiras area, with fumaroles and thermal and mineral water springs, where you will be able to sample them.<\/p>\n<p>Return to Ponta Delgada along the island&#8217;s south coast. On the way, a stop in Vila Franca do Campo \u2013 the island&#8217;s first capital \u2013 where you can visit the factory of the famous Queijadas da Vila and from where you can see the Ilh\u00e9u de Vila Franca do Campo, a nature reserve and privileged bathing area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comprend<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prise en charge \/ d\u00e9pose (gratuit \u00e0 P.
