Camminata Faial da Terra + tour in furgone al Nordeste

On this experience you can combine the adventure of walking one of the most beautiful trails on the island of São Miguel with a comfortable minivan tour to Nordeste.
We start the day in Ponta Delgada and head towards Faial da Terra. Here we will walk the Faial da Terra – Salto do Prego circular trail, passing through a village hidden in the mountains, Sanguinho. On this walk, one of the most famous on the island of São Miguel, you can also cool off in the Salto do Prego waterfall, especially during the summer.
After the trail we will stop in the centre of the parish of Faial da Terra to relax and call in at the whalers’ harbour before continuing to the second part of the tour.
Once in Nordeste, we will follow a route past several viewpoints. It is a stunningly beautiful area of the island of São Miguel. We will stop at the Ponta do Sossego viewpoint, followed by the Vigia dos Barcos viewpoint. We will then head to the centre of the town of Nordeste before making the last stop of the day at the magnificent Ribeira dos Caldeirões waterfall.
