Pico Arieiro & Traditional Market

Explore some of Madeira’s most iconic locations on a 4-hour tour that combines stunning landscapes, local culture, and off-road adventure. Departing from Funchal, this tour takes you to the impressive Pico do Arieiro, the picturesque Santo da Serra Market, and back to the city, with strategic stops to appreciate the island’s natural beauty.

This half-day tour is perfect for those who want to explore Madeira quickly but intensely. We start with an exciting climb to Pico do Arieiro, where the clouds seem to touch the ground and the views are truly breathtaking. Then, we descend to Santo da Serra, a charming village where the local market offers a burst of colors, aromas, and flavors. Taste regional delicacies and immerse yourself in Madeiran authenticity.

The adventure continues with an off-road trail through the Laurissilva Forest, one of the oldest and best-preserved in Europe. We stop at a secret viewpoint to admire the north coast before returning to Funchal, feeling like you’ve experienced the best of Madeira in just 4 hours.
