Its halls hold the fish of the Azores, the fruit of S\u00e3o Miguel and the cheeses of the archipelago, in a daily display of the islands&#8217; larder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Storia e identit\u00e0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market carries the name of its square, Largo da Gra\u00e7a, and has served the city since the nineteenth century, when Ponta Delgada was the busy capital of the Azorean trade.
