Come and share with us a day of authentic experiences full of tradition in the greenest region of Portugal: the Alto Minho.

We’ll begin by discovering the historic centre of Barcelos, with its 14th-century bridge and the legend behind Portugal’s emblem – the Barcelos Rooster. We’ll taste the conventual sweets and learn more about the local recipes. The verdant landscapes where the vines of the exclusive Vinho Verde grow lush will lead us to the lanes of the ancient village of Ponte de Lima, the oldest town in Portugal, whose medieval historic centre will take us on a journey through time. As this town is one of the country’s most important gastronomic capitals, it makes perfect sense for us to delight in a hearty and delicious regional lunch there, accompanied by the region’s exclusive wines. Next comes a visit to the magnificent and historic Viana do Castelo, whose Sanctuary of Sta. Luzia will reward us with one of Europe’s most spectacular panoramas, along with a historic centre full of Art, Architecture and History. Despite all this discovery, there will be time for us to enjoy a cocktail paired by the sea, in what is one of the most picturesque coastal towns in Portugal.
