Our Family’s History:

Now over 100 years old, Poças is currently in the hands of the 4th generation, and is one of the rare Port Wine companies that was born Portuguese and has remained in the hands of the same family since its foundation. Our old Tawny Port wines built Poças’ reputation, but for 30 years now the DOC Douro wines have also proved their quality.

2019년 Poças는 Revista de Vinhos가 수여하는 “2018년 올해의 주정강화 와인 생산자” 상을 받았습니다.

The Poças Visitor Centre has been open to the public since 2016 and was fully renovated in 2018 – an innovative project signed by architects Lúcia Vaz Pato and António Mota. Welcoming around 30,000 visitors a year, in 2018 the Visitor Centre was awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
