This river has a well-preserved riparian corridor.<br \/>It starts at the well-preserved Quinta da Mata, at Po\u00e7o da Mata. The route includes passing over and crossing some weirs and rocks through more than 6 jumps ranging from 2 m to 10 m.<br \/>Along the way, you may spot some species of fauna and flora from the region. Some slides can only be done when the water level is higher. The route ends at the famous Po\u00e7o da Cesta, where you can make various jumps of up to 10 m and also do some freediving.<\/p>\n<p>This activity is a gentler form of canyoning, allowing you to try the sport for the first time. Footwear is the responsibility of the participants.<br \/>You may bring a Lycra top to wear under the wetsuit.<br \/>The organisers have waterproof backpacks to carry participants&#8217; lunch, but the amount should be moderate.<\/p>\n<p>We suggest that participants eat something before the trek so they do not have to carry as much weight during the activity. It is important to bring sun cream.
