With roots in the town&#8217;s medieval charters, it fills the market building and the surrounding streets with fresh produce, seafood, sweets, handicrafts and the voices of traders from the surrounding countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\uc5ed\uc0ac\uc640 \uc815\uccb4\uc131<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Loul\u00e9 has held its market for centuries \u2014 an old privilege of the town that shaped its trade and its daily life. The covered market of today grew from that tradition, and the Saturday fair remains the great weekly gathering of the inland Algarve, part commerce, part social ritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to find and discover<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The produce halls: fruit, vegetables, dried fruit and local specialities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The fish and meat halls, with the morning catch and regional products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Saturday street fair, with crafts, ceramics and household goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The bustling town around the market, with its castle and old streets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Products and specialities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market is known for Algarve produce \u2014 citrus, figs, almonds, carob and honey \u2014 as well as local sausages, cheeses and sweets. The town itself is famed for its carnival and for the crafts sold at the fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\uc8fc\ubcc0 \uba85\uc18c<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market stands beside the old town of <a href=\"https:\/\/realdreams.pt\/ko\/attractions-to-visit\/regions-of-portugal\/algarve-region\/loule\/\" rel=\"noopener\">\ub864\ub808<\/a>, and the fish market of <a href=\"https:\/\/realdreams.pt\/ko\/attractions-to-visit\/regions-of-portugal\/algarve-region\/mercado-municipal-de-olhao\/\" rel=\"noopener\">\uc62c\ub7c9<\/a> is a short drive away on the coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visiting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market is in the centre of Loul\u00e9, about 15 kilometres inland from Faro, reached by road.
