Classified as a Protected Area where preserved nature has a strong, wild character, which translates into stunning landscapes over the Atlantic Ocean.

The Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park stretches from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Burgau, covering around 80 Km of coastline within its broad arc.

Exploring inland to the north of Lagos, our first stop is at the beaches of Amado and Carrapateira, where you can enjoy the stunning beauty of this coastline sculpted by the rough sea. We then continue to Aljezur, dominated at the top of a hill by the ruins of its Moorish castle, which offers spectacular views all around.
