• Dynamic warm-up
• Explanation of the surf equipment and its functions
• Explanation of the take-off while still on the sand.
• Learning how to enter the water and get onto your board.
• Learning how to catch a wave (in the white water) and paddling technique.
• Learning how to stand-up and balance on your board

What is the level of experience required?
For this program you must have some paddling skills and be able to catch green waves, with some help from an instructor or on your own. You need to be super consistent with your take-off and be comfortable on the board and as well with the ocean beneath you.

Locations of the surf lessons
The lessons are normally held at Praia das Milícias or at the Areal de Santa Barbara. The students will be informed of the location on the day before the lesson,
by email or phone call.
