What is it?

A guided visit to the magnificent night sky of Monsaraz, where you can learn to navigate by the pole star, identify the constellations and learn their legends. Basic concepts of astronomy and astrophysics are covered as you observe, through high-resolution telescopes, various deep-sky objects ranging from planets, exams, binaries, nebulae, galaxies and much more!

The whole experience includes the presence of a professional guide. The explanations are given in accessible language by the OLA guides, who are more than prepared to answer all kinds of questions, including existential ones. Is the Earth flat? Come and find out…

Suitable for all ages.

In case of bad weather, it is at the customer’s discretion whether to take part in the alternative session or book for another date. If you have any doubts, just get in touch with us.

What to bring to survive!

Bring a warm layer. Odd as it may seem, even in summer the nights tend to cool down quickly. It is not unusual for it to be 40ºC during the day and 20ºC at night.

In winter… Bring everything!

We are subject to weather conditions. If the weather does not allow the astronomical session to take place, it will be replaced by the real-time navigation session

Customers will be entitled to a full refund when the cancellation occurs with 48 hours’ notice, except in duly justified situations of force majeure.
