About the Tour

On this Tour you will discover two of the most interesting wine-producing regions in Portugal: the Douro Valley and the Vinho Verde Region! The Douro Valley hardly needs an introduction, being the oldest Demarcated Region in the World (1756), which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. This is where Port Wine was born and still reigns, but the Red and White DOC Douro wines have also been gaining prominence on the market.

On the other hand, we have the Vinho Verde Region, a place that began to become popular much more recently with this type of wine that surprises at first sip with its refreshing acidity, floral aroma and more fruity flavour.

The morning will begin with a visit to 2 family Quintas, where the practice of organic vineyard maintenance is very important. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand when it comes to producing exceptional wines at these 2 Quintas! The guided visit will be followed by tastings of DOC Vinho Verde wines.

At lunch, you will have a refined 3-course meal at a Quinta, where the DOC Vinho Verde wines will be served and will elevate the meal to another level!

Our last stop will be at another family winery founded in the 20th century, a pioneer winery in the production of DOC Douro wines with a great diversity of grape varieties. A wine tasting with these nectars will bring our visit to a close.
