Discover the Region Demarcated in 1908, where the unique and one of the most popular types of Portuguese Wine is produced: Vinho Verde. We will take you to Monção & Melgaço to taste the delicious wines produced from the Alvarinho grape, considered the noblest grape of the region. It is a region of ancient traditions and peculiar vineyards, but also of delicious cured sausages that pair very well with Red Vinho Verde!

We run a tour where you will visit 2 unique family Quintas, learn about the production process of Vinho Verde DOC and how to pair it with different regional delicacies, and explore the Quinta’s vineyards!

You will do more than guided visits and wine tastings at the Quintas! You will start the day with a breakfast paired with infusions produced at the Quinta, which will awaken your senses. Enjoy a gastronomic experience with local products such as cheese and smoked cured sausages, explore and observe up close the development of the numerous vineyards, the infusion fields and the wine cellars. These two quintas were certainly pioneers in the production of Vinho Verde DOC!

Travelling from Melgaço to Monção will truly give you the opportunity to enjoy the unique green landscape of the Vinho Verde region! Join us on this experience and discover a region that truly embodies the spirit of Northern Portugal.
