Through the Unknown Mines and Meanders of the Paiva

Jeep tour through the Montanhas Mágicas, with a visit
to the Regoufe and Rio de Frades Mining Complexes, of scientific, cultural, archaeological and scenic interest.
These are two former mining operations, notable for the fact that, during the Second World War, one of them was worked by the Allied forces (Regoufe) and the other by the Germans (Rio de Frades).
In both, tungsten was extracted, also known as wolfram.
