Dare to be a shepherd of a flock of goats! Our activity will be held at Terra Chã Cooperative, located in the Village of Chãos, in the heart of the Natural Park of Serras de Aire and Candeeiros, on the Estremadura Limestone Massif. Accompanied by the pastor and his flock of 200 Serranas community goats ecotype Ribatejano, visitors will have the opportunity to closely observe this activity which has gradually been forgotten.

Along the way, you can experience the day-to-day life of a shepherd, interacting with him and learning from him a piece of traditional wisdom. The pedestrian route stretches for about 3km lasting 3 hours, starting and finishing in the village of Chãos.

After an unforgettable experience, where travelers could feel what it is like to be a shepherd of a flock of goats, we visit the Natural Salinas of Rio Maior. Surrounded by trees and farmland they are considered a wonder of nature, because the sea is 30 km away.
