We vertrekken oostwaarts, waar de Alto Douro op ons wacht!<\/p>\n<p>Our first stop in the Douro region will be at a Winery in Favaios. Located among 1000 hectares of vineyards, this century-old estate will charm you with its wine, and then surprise you with the delicious golden-coloured nectar that is Moscatel wine within its sanctuary.<\/p>\n<p>Daarna rijden we naar het historische stadje Pinh\u00e3o, waar een regionale lunch op ons wacht in een mooi lokaal restaurant. Onderweg bezoeken we misschien ook een van de mooiste uitzichtpunten in de regio.<\/p>\n<p>Na de lunch rijden we naar het tweede wijnhuis. Daar leert u hoe Douro DOC-wijnen &amp; portwijnen worden gemaakt en kunt u beide soorten proeven bij een familiewijnhuis. Ontdek hoe het klimaat en de rijke bodem van de regio de druiven be\u00efnvloeden. Leer meer over bijzondere rijpingsmethoden die deze karakteristieke smaken opleveren en over de productie van stille en versterkte wijnen.<\/p>\n<p>Vervolgens ontdekt u een familiewijnhuis dat een mooi voorbeeld is van de bijzondere producten uit de Dourovallei: het maakt Douro DOC-wijn, portwijn, olijfolie en noten!
