The visit to the Aveiro Salt Pans lasts approximately 45 minutes and is accompanied by a guide who will explain all the history, tradition and secrets behind the salt pans.

As well as the link between past and present, you will learn about the processes, methods and tools used in the harvest, the fauna, the flora and all the work of the most important figure in this place: the marnoto.

Depending on the season and the weather conditions, you may observe various species of fauna and flora, you may be lucky enough to see the marnoto in action and, who knows, following his teachings, try your hand at his work.
