The Castle of Lousã, also known as the Castle of Arouce, is located about two kilometers from the town and municipality of Lousã, in the Coimbra district of Portugal. Sitting prominently atop a narrow ridge of the Serra da Lousã mountain range, on the right bank of the Arouce River, this historic fortress has become a popular tourist attraction.
