The city of Aveiro is known as Venice of Portugal where you can get to know the city experiencing a boat ride on the canals. Also known as a gastronomic destiny of seafood and traditional sweets.

Coimbra

The city of Coimbra known as “students city” where the eldest university in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe is located in. The University is classified as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Charming city full of history and tradition.

Aveiro

• Visit to Ria de Aveiro, the capital of the Ria, a vast lagoon where the freshwater of the River Vouga joins with the sea, Aveiro is intersected by canals, genuine streets of water, along which can be seen gliding the brightly coloured boats known as barcos moliceiros.

• Barco moliceiro experience, a boat ride on a “moliceiro” through the three canals within the city.

• Visit to Costa Nova, a part of the colours and beauty of Aveiro is inseparable from the famous haystacks of Costa Nova. These traditional structures were used by fishermen to store their fishing materials and have also been used as beach houses throughout the years. Built near the beach, they welcome the sea with their facades painted in bright coloured stripes.

Coimbra

• Visit University of Coimbra, founded in 1290 and is one of the oldest in Europe, and was classified World heritage site by UNESCO.

• Visit the historical city centre of Coimbra
