What will happen on the day

Your tour guide will greet you at Monchique Petrol Station.The meeting time is 9:30am in the morning. By car we reach the black pigs factory in the hills surrounding Monchique, where we start the tour with a rewarding walk up to a wonderful panoramic point. On the way back we stop at one of the few remaining factory in Portugal growing and feeding pigs in a sustainable way.

By car, we go back to the old town center, where we are going to have lunch in a typical “Tasca” of Monchique, where meet dishes are cooked with special care and wisdom. After lunch we visit a Medronho liquor shops, where local producers will explain step by step how this incredible liquor is made and where you will taste several varietes of spirits.
