Com cerca de 1.5 quil\u00f3metros em redor da vila, o caminho passa por antigas portas e torres e oferece vistas amplas sobre as casas caiadas, o castelo e, em dias limpos, o litoral atl\u00e2ntico para l\u00e1 das colinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Um passeio acima da vila<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As muralhas datam, em grande parte, do s\u00e9culo XIV, quando D. Dinis e os reis que se seguiram refor\u00e7aram as defesas da vila, j\u00e1 ent\u00e3o apreciada pela realeza. Conquistada aos mouros em 1148, \u00d3bidos passou a integrar o dote de v\u00e1rias rainhas, o que lhe valeu a alcunha de Vila das Rainhas. O percurso \u00e9 gratuito e n\u00e3o tem vigil\u00e2ncia \u2014 h\u00e1 longos tro\u00e7os sem corrim\u00e3o \u2014, por isso avance com cuidado, sobretudo se vier com crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O que ver<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A porta principal, a Porta da Vila, com o orat\u00f3rio de azulejos do s\u00e9culo XVIII<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O castelo, hoje uma pousada hist\u00f3rica, e a Igreja de Santa Maria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vistas dos telhados sobre as ruas antigas, com apontamentos ocres e azuis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Igreja de Santiago, hoje uma livraria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O aqueduto da Usseira, que em tempos levava \u00e1gua \u00e0 vila ao longo de 3 quil\u00f3metros<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Informa\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O percurso pelas muralhas \u00e9 gratuito e demora cerca de uma hora a um ritmo tranquilo. V\u00e1 de manh\u00e3 cedo ou ao fim da tarde para evitar a multid\u00e3o e o calor do meio do dia, e use cal\u00e7ado com boa ader\u00eancia: alguns tro\u00e7os s\u00e3o irregulares e estreitos.
