Espetadatur – Madeira

The Espetada Tour is an evening experience built around one of Madeira’s most important food traditions: espetada. This is not a rushed tasting or a fixed-route tour, but a relaxed, social evening centred on sharing a traditional meal together.

The tour includes a full espetada dinner, typically consisting of meat, potatoes, salad, fried maize meal, and bread. Everything is served in a local setting where espetada is part of everyday life, not a performance for tourists.

Along the way, the group may stop at different locations depending on timing and availability. The focus is on atmosphere, conversation, and understanding the cultural importance of espetada, rather than following a strict itinerary.
