We’ll meet at the time indicated in front of the CR7 Museum in Funchal, where we’ll begin the free tour around the city’s old town. Are you ready to explore this charming city?

Our adventure will start as we admire the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum. Did you know that Funchal is the famous footballer’s home town? Continuing on, we’ll walk through the harbour area and admire the coastline and boats docked at the marina.

Next, we’ll make our way into the historic centre, where we’ll across many quaint alleys and cobblestoned streets which characterise the city. Passing by some of the city’s most emblematic monuments and buildings, one that stands out will be the Sao Lourenco Fortress. Built in the 16th century, the fortress is regarded as the most important example of military architecture in Madeira.

Of course, we’ll also travel along Avenida do Mar, where we’ll marvel at the exterior architecture of the Madeira Assembly and the Puerta de Funchal. As we walk, we’ll see some of the city’s famous street art murals.

Finally, after a total of 2.5 hours, we’ll bring the tour to an end. Até logo!
