Tour Information

You will have the opportunity to learn not only the history of two important family quintas, but also how they produce and age their Port and DOC Douro wines. Understand how the effects of the climate and the region’s rich soil influence the grapes, learn about the special storage techniques that result in these characteristic flavours, and hear about the making of both unfortified and fortified wines.

Throughout the day, you will pass by some of the most beautiful viewpoints and landscapes of the Douro, as well as some local villages. The Douro is the region of the world with the most vineyards planted on mountainsides, and this will certainly be an unforgettable sight!

A visit to these two Quintas would not be complete without tasting some Port and DOC Douro wines, the nectars that put the Douro Valley region on the map!
